AI Diligence Audit · For organizations that get researched before they get funded

Someone is asking AI about you
before your next meeting

Lenders, board members, grantors and procurement officers now open ChatGPT or Gemini before they open your deck. Whatever the model concludes is the first impression, and you never see it. This audit finds out what it says, why it says it, and what to change before the date that matters.

Four AI surfaces, logged out, fresh sessions
Fixed scope in writing within 48 hours
Findings delivered in a conversation first

Ranking in AI answers is not the same as passing diligence

Most AI visibility work asks whether you show up. That matters for a consumer brand. If your money comes from people who research you first, the question is what the model tells them when they do, and that question produces different findings.

The model has you filed in the wrong category
If an AI cannot say who your buyer is, it compares you to the wrong peers and answers the wrong questions about you. This is checked first on every engagement, because getting it wrong invalidates everything after it.
It confuses you with someone else
A shared or similar name, a former brand, or a second legal entity, and the model blends them. Sometimes it credits you with achievements that are not yours, which is worse than missing ones that are, because the inflation lands on you.
It cannot verify what you say about yourself
Credentials, outcomes, partnerships and funding that live only on your own site read as claims. The model goes looking for an independent source and reports what it could not find.
The models disagree with each other
One model being right does not mean the problem is solved. Your reviewer uses whichever one they use, and disagreement between models is reported as a finding on its own.

I audited my own company before I offered this to anyone

ChatGPT described ResultantAI accurately across every prompt. Gemini attached a different person to the company and put a scam warning on the brand name. Same company, same week, opposite verdicts. That result is why model disagreement is its own line in every report, and I show the screenshots on the scoping call.

Five stages, each one checked before the next starts

The order matters. A wrong call in the first stage has already ruined a full set of prompts on a real engagement, so each stage is reviewed before the work moves on.

01   Category and entities
One sentence on who signs your check, every legal entity and domain in your family, your most citable asset, and the three competitors the model should be comparing you to.
02   What the models say
Nine prompts in three sets: unbranded discovery, branded and entity questions, and proof points. Each runs in a fresh logged out session across four AI surfaces, with a known competitor run as a control so a vague prompt is never mistaken for a problem with you.
03   What the models read
Crawler access, llms.txt, structured data, canonical URLs, duplicate hostnames, content that only appears with JavaScript, and stale pages still in the index. This layer is usually why the models say what they say.
04   Who vouches for you
Partner and vendor directories, association member lists, review platforms, press syndication and public records. Models send high intent questions to these sources, so a missing listing is often the single cheapest fix available.
05   Score and plan
A scored assessment and a remediation plan ranked by effort against impact, led by the list of what the model went looking for and could not find. Most of it is material you already have.

Findings arrive in a conversation, not an inbox

A written diligence teardown can reach your board before you have read it. So the findings are walked through with you first, and the written report follows. Anything negative in the public record is raised once, plainly, so you can prepare an answer.

In scope: your web content, structured data, entity signals and directory presence. Out of scope: legal entity structure, which belongs to your counsel, and any guarantee about what a model will say on a given day. Corrections have to be published, crawled, indexed and retrieved, so plan on eight to eleven weeks before your conference, funding round, RFP or review date. Scope and a fixed price come back in writing within 48 hours of the call. Implementation is quoted separately, and ongoing monitoring is available because models are re-crawled and your sources go stale.

The questions that come up first

How is this different from an AEO or GEO audit?
An AEO or GEO audit asks whether you show up in AI answers. This asks what verdict the model delivers to the specific person deciding whether to fund, lend to, hire or contract with you. You can rank well and still get the wrong verdict. If visibility is what you need, the AEO/GEO Audit is the right fit.
Who is this for?
Organizations whose counterparties run diligence: grant and federally funded organizations, anyone answering to a board, lender, housing authority or enterprise procurement team, and organizations with more than one legal entity or brand. It is not built for local consumer businesses, and if that is you I will say so and point you to something cheaper.
Why do you not list a price?
Scope depends on how many entities, brands and domains you have, and that is not knowable before a conversation. You get a written scope with a fixed price within 48 hours of the call.
How long does a fix take to show up?
Corrections have to be published, crawled, indexed and then retrieved by the models. Plan on eight to eleven weeks before the date that matters. That is the main reason not to wait until the month of your deadline.
Will you fix our legal entity structure?
No. That belongs to your counsel. The audit covers what ResultantAI delivers: your web content, schema, entity signals and directory listings. If the entity structure itself is the problem, the report says so plainly and stops there.

Tell me who researches you, and when

Who signs your checks, how many entities and domains you run, and what date is coming up. Thirty minutes. If this is not the right audit for you I will say so on the call.
